3D Printing
There are five public libraries in Virginia Beach that have 3D printers that can be used by the public for free! Anyone who has completed the 3D printer orientation can reserve a 3D printer for onsite use. Whether you’re testing an invention, making a toy, or printing a fix to repair a broken item, this is a valuable service offered by our public libraries.
Seed Library
Three branches in Virginia Beach offer a Seed Library, which is stocked by donations from Master Gardeners. Library patrons may take up to three seed packets at a time, and the seed packets are labeled with plant information and instructions for growing. Enjoy harvesting herbs and vegetables, or admire the flowers in your own garden at home!
Library of Things
Perhaps one of the most unique and quintessential “Virginia Beach” items you can check out from the library is a surf board!
